I’m just a Kid Again, doin’ what I did again! Sometimes I sing this old tune when I wake up at Westlake! And why not! Westlake is more like an adult playground! Great golf, great events and great friends to enjoy it all with!
Both the Westlake Women’s and Men’s Golf Associations had a great season, and are looking forward to making purchases in the Pro Shop with all the credits they won during the year! The Blessing of our Pets will take place in October compliments of The Westlake Animal Group (WAG’s). Speaking of WAG’s, our own Susan Addelston, and The Hardy’s Dog were featured in the Asbury Park Press on September 21st for their outreach efforts for the medical care of animals.
Autumn is upon us with homes decorated in colorful mums and orange pumpkins! Once more we look forward to our Halloween Dance Party, and the annual Women’s Club Holiday Boutique and Bake Sale, a favorite for purchasing items for the gift-giving Seasons! I’ve heard the Italian-American Club trip to the Sight & Sound Theatre in Hershey, Pennsylvania, is awesome and no one should miss a Luau sponsored by WAG’s! The Westlake Men’s Club Annual Blood Drive and Women’s Club Breast Cancer Walk make enormous contributions to our community, where you can make life-saving donations!
Westlake has so many trips and gatherings, it’s difficult to actually choose which to do! Make sure you check the Calendar in the Westlake Journal publication for dates and times of upcoming events.
Yes….. this is a great time to be a KID in Westlake!
