Opening Day for Westlake Golf Members has kicked off with many affordable options to play, learn, and at the same time, give back to organizations such as Prostate Cancer Research, Susan B. Komen Rally for the Cure, Veterans’ Associations, Hurricane Sandy, the Jackson Food Bank and Making Headway Foundation Fundraisers.
If you ever wanted to learn the game of Golf at Westlake, this is the perfect opportunity to begin! Special programs such as, “3 Putter Group,” or “Get Into Golf 2018,” whereby, this package includes a Free Round of 9 Holes of Golf, with one of our Westlake Golf Committee members! Flyers are available at the Pro Shop.
The Westlake Women’s Golf Member/Guest Tournament is gearing up for this year’s theme, “Beach Blanket Bingo!” Many opportunities to win prizes and have a great day with our Lady Golfers! A delicious and Beachy Luncheon will follow the tournament, sign-up sheets are also available at our Pro Shop.
Coming to Westlake’s Clubhouse Ballroom is the Photography Club’s, “2018 Photography & Fine Art Show,” (For Westlake Residents & their Guests Only) Dates and times are: June 7th Thursday 5 – 9 PM, June 8th Friday 5 – 9 PM, & June 9th Saturday 4 – 8 PM. This is an opportunity to enjoy beautiful photography and art created by the talented residents of Westlake.
A special-shout out to The Westlake Disability Committee for bringing informative health and service programs to our residents! Panel question and answer sessions follow each presentation! A light breakfast is usually served for participants! Having attended these series, I have been educated in many local available services.
