Yes, we are certainly Marching into this Mad Month hoping the arrival of Spring will happen soon!!! As daylight savings time begins, Westlake Golf & Country Golf Club is in preparation for opening day. Our Golf Pro, Kevin Maciorowski, apprises members of the improvements taking place, such as tree removal and pruning, an improved practice chipping area, and new merchandise arriving daily at the Pro Shop!
Have you met our new Assistant Golf Professional Paul Freda? You can read about Paul on the Westlake External Website. Or, stop in and welcome him while you browse new equipment and golf styles at the Pro Shop!
March Madness also brings with it the NCAA Basketball Tournament, the Miami Open in Tennis, and celebration of St. Patty’s Day! You can watch all March Events at our onsite Pub featuring four (4) High Definition Televisions. Speaking of, “Kiss Me I’m Irish Day,” how fortunate that Westlake Residents enjoy a premier restaurant and pub offering a slew of special menu items! The dining experience at our onsite restaurant offers a variety of unique choices, while the welcoming staff are trained to assist in every way possible. Not only are the servers and bartenders professional in their work, they are attentive, AND FUN!
Our Concierge, Joanne Goldberg and her staff, has worked tirelessly to bring the best in entertainment to this season’s VIP Concert Series, including the group known as the, “FOUR by FOUR,” featuring a tribute to the legendary music of THE BEACH BOYS, THE BEATLES, THE BEE GEES and MOTOWN.
Looking forward to warmer weather, Westlake’s New Car Club will be offering three (3) dates to come and peruse owner vehicles, from the past, with complimentary music and food! Bocce starts their season in May and the Men’s Club kicks off their Annual Blood Drive! No stopping there, movies, photography, dance fit, the pool opening, new golf programs for beginners, and card parties are among the list of endless choices to stay active and fit!
Westlake Golf and Country Club is Mad about March, but with so many options to enjoy, we’re crazy (in a good way) for the rest of the year as well!
