“We aren’t Jockeys; our horse may be a golf cart; and although we aren’t in Louisville; it is Westlake Member-Guest Derby Time!” Once again, the Westlake Women’s Golf Association (WWGA) will sponsor its annual Member-Guest Golf Tournament on July 21, 2016 at the stunning Westlake Golf & Country Club. The tournament is open to all WWGA members and their guests. This year’s theme is the Kentucky Derby – “The Run for the Roses. “ All players will race against each other as jockeys in their Derby winner-named golf carts. Following a “Stableford” format, furlongs will be earned in place of points on net and gross scores to determine the Win, Place, and Show winners of the race. A delicious continental breakfast will be served in Westlake’s Ballroom. Following the tournament, our award-winning chefs will also serve a delectable lunch and there will be prizes, raffle drawings, and a special derby “hat contest.” Don’t miss out…it’s going to be a race to the finish!
